Berg Company moving to large former Caterpiller distribution center in Spokane Valley

Berg Co. , is consolidating all their local offices and manufacturing operations into a large formerly vacant Spokane Valley industrial building that was last used as a distribution center for Caterpillar.

Berg, purchased the building at 6811 E. Mission and is relocating there from leased space at 16124 E. Euclid Ave., both in Spokane Valley. The new building on Mission will provide Berg just under 125,000 square feet of total space. The Caterpillar distribution center left a couple of years ago after that company built a brand new, massive complex just off of I-90 and Southwest of Spokane International Airport on the West Plains.

Berg Co. will move all employees to the new space, the company employs about 200. It appears the company is not planning to hire additional staff for the new building but this may change in the future.

Berg Co. is a manufacturing firm of camp and support equipment for remote locations, primarily for the US Military. Berg's facilities are ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified and create many different items including tents , storage spaces and more.
