Small Business Saturday is Nov. 24th!

Everyone has heard of Black Friday,in fact some of you may already have a plan for what stores you'll hit up for this year's day after Thanksgiving sales. Those sales do offer good deals but at the end of the day when all the money is broken up a majority is going to another part of the country or nation and won't help locally.

But one big holiday shopping day does... Small Business Saturday . Small Business Saturday is a annual event formed originally by American Express. Small Business Saturday began in 2010 and just last year American Express reported over 100 million shoppers taking advantage of the deals at local small businesses in their area.

This year's Small Business Saturday falls on Nov. 24th ,perfectly sandwiched in between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. While the event is national many Spokane and Coeur d' Alene area retailers are sure to have special offers, in fact a map showing where to shop will be posted soon on the Small Business Satuday official site at...
