North 40 Outfitters planning expansion of Trent Ave. store

CSWW,Inc. parent company of North 40 Outfitters is actively in the process of remodeling and expanding their long-standing store at 8307 E. Trent Ave. in Spokane Valley / Millwood. Store construction kicked off in early May with Young Construction acting as the general contractor and H2a Architects performing the architectural design work according to permit data.

North 40 plans to add an additional 20,000 square feet to the retail floor with a large emphasis in space going towards clothing, footwear, outdoor power center equipment, a new garden center, broader selection of outdoor recreation, new spin fishing set, new selection of marine accessories and a more complete selection of food and gifts. The front of the building will also be renovated as it expands eastward giving the store more outside retail space on the front walks in addition to expansion of space inside the store.

The Trent Ave. North 40 opened in August 2000 and houses a lineup of solutions for farm, ranch and outdoor needs and it currently employs over 60 people. North 40 Outfitters is a family owned and operated business headquartered in Great Falls,MT. and has 12 store locations in a three-state area.

The company also was recently announced to be an anchor tenant of a new commercial development in North Spokane /Mead,WA at the intersection of Newport Hwy. & Mt. Spokane Park Dr. . That new store is planned to begin construction early next year with a new 90,000 SF building that will replace an older smaller store that already exists nearby in Mead.
