Latest rendering of the Convention Center Hotel released

The newest version of the rendering of the planned hotel, going up now in Downtown Spokane across Spokane Falls Blvd. from the Convention Center and INB Performing Arts Center.
This version is the third rendering shown since the announcement of the massive project. It is similar to previous editions with the expectation of the brick exterior . This version also shows the new parking structure placed behind the hotel.

In the rendering the hotel bears the name Hotel Spokane, however it is believed this is not final as the hotel is intended to be affiliated with a yet to be named national hotel brand. The hotel is being built as part of the Davenport Hotel Collection with the developer being Walt Worthy, the same local businessman that's behind the Davenport and a few other large properties around Spokane.

Here are the main features of the hotel , at a glance :

-High rise hotel tower with hotel rooms on the upper floors and space for a restaurant or restaurant's as well some retail space on the far lower floors.

-721 hotel rooms

-Attached parking structure with 900 parking spaces , some of the parking spaces will be used for event parking at the INB and Convention Center. The new parking structure will actually increase the amount of parking the facilities had in the former surface lot.

- 70,000 square feet of meeting space including a 19,000 square foot ballroom and over 25 other meeting rooms in a variety of sizes.
