Inland Northwest Business Watch is a blog format written locally by Matt Behringer. We cover news about business and development happenings around the Spokane / Coeur d' Alene region. We are also working on evolving this site into a source for local events and experences.
I was born and raised in a small town called Upper Sandusky ,Ohio where I obsessed over construction. Even as a child, I would read the newspaper and check other media for new places, telling everyone ( whether they wanted to know or not... ) about what was going in where. I was a bit of a weird kid but today, I get to use that weird hobby to write this blog and boost our growing business community.
I moved with my wife to the Inland Northwest in 2007 and fell in love with Spokane. It's a city like no other with changes happening all the time, but I noticed many people just didn't have knowledge of new stores or restaurants, so I started this site in late 2011.
