Rodda Paint anchored plaza going up on E. Sprague

In Feb. 2019, a large overnight fire destroyed the Spokane Valley location of Rodda Paint in the 6800 block of E. Sprague. Afterwards the business set up shop in a smaller location at 409 N. Thierman Rd. Suite B, where they are still open for business as of today.

But, Rodda will soon be returning to that same Sprague Ave. location as construction started recently for a new multi-tenant building at 6818 E. Sprague, with Rodda Paint anchoring that new structure.

The new building will be 15,000 square feet and is planned to be ready sometime in the Spring of 2021. The largest portion of the building will be for the new Rodda Paint store, which will be on the east side of the new development next to Bradley Rd. .The western side of the building will be 4 flex / retail bays at about 1,500 square feet each, or they could be combined into 6,000 square feet. No tenants are set for these spaces just yet, but they are now pre-leasing, and open to many types of businesses.

With phase 3 power, roll up doors planned as well ample parking and a highly visible location on Sprague, these spaces will surely fill up fast however. We'll keep and eye on this project as it develops to see what opens there.
