It is not a comprehensive list but is a report of what we know about and may not be 100% up to date. Tamale Box
Status-planned
Location- NoLL development site in Liberty Lake
Popular Tamale vendor who frequents area farmers markets and also recently opened a new restaurant in Kendall Yards has plans for a new second location in Liberty Lake's NoLL mixed use development off of Harvard Rd.. Opening date is TBD as of my writing this.
Hitters
Status- Under Construction
Location- 24250 E. Knox Ln. #1 Liberty Lake
Batting cage business with an attached bar and restaurant is planning their second location in Liberty Lake. Another is already open in North Spokane.
Bruchi's
Status- Under Construction
Location- 4416 S Regal Spokane
Locally based chain of cheesesteaks and subs is planning two more locations. One under construction in North Spokane / Mead and another planned to be coming on the South Hill.

The Milkshake Parlor / Souza's Take & Bake
Status- Planned
Location- ?
Planned as a unique milkshake business coming soon. They did have a location leased in the Indian Trail neighborhood but after delays and an investor shake up they are working on opening somewhere else in Spokane.
*Heard this will possibly be opening with a new location of Souza's Take & Bake in Spokane Valley.
Indicana
Status- Under Construction
Location- 1020 S. Perry Spokane
New Indian-Mexican fusion restaurant planned to open soon in South Perry neighborhood.
Maharaja Taste of India
Status- Under Construction
Location- 12 E. Olive Downtown Spokane
A new Indian restaurant with one location already in the Tri-Cities will open soon in the former Perkins restaurant space near the Spokane Convention Center.
Tawney's Sandwich Shop
Status- Under Construction
Location- 1505 N. Ash Spokane
New locally owned and operated sandwich shop coming soon to a site on Ash that was last used by a used car sales lot.
Al Bacha #3
Status- Under Construction
Location-2018 N. Hamilton Spokane
Seattle based Mediterranean restaurant planning to open their first Spokane location.
Raising Cane's
Status- Under Construction
Location- 9252 N. Newport Hwy Spokane
Popular national chicken finger chain planning their first Spokane area location.
Dave's Hot Chicken
Status- planned
Location- 6104 N. Division Spokane
Popular chain chicken restaurant planning their first Spokane area restaurant location.
Torra Tea
Status- Under Construction
Location- 11205 E. Dishman-Mica Rd. #104-C Spokane Valley
Tea and tea based cocktail restaurant opening soon that will also include Scottish based menu items.
Uno Mas

Location- 2020 N. Monroe Spokane
Uno Mas, a street taco shop located inside the Wonder Building near the Spokane Arena is planning a new second location with a bar in the new Millenium Monroe development.
Many new local restaurants coming to the Spokane International Airport

Popular chain of arcades / bar's building their first location in the Spokane area.
The Griffin's Tavern
Status- Planned
Location- 1001 W. First Ave. Downtown Spokane
New bar and restaurant planned for the former Brooklyn Deli space in the Montvale Hotel building. Not much is known about this new place as of my writing this.
Old European Breakfast House
Status- Under Construction
Location- 1235 S. Grand Spokane
The owners of Old European Breakfast House are taking over the former Summit Kitchen & Canteen space and are planning a new restaurant there.
Brew Peddler
Status- Under Construction
Location- 802 E. 29th Ave. #3 Spokane
Going from a travelling coffee kiosk to a full brick and mortar coffee shop, the Brew Peddler plans to open soon in the Manito Shopping Center on Spokane's South Hill
Seng's Asian BBQ House
Status- Planned
Location- Former Charlie's building at Broadway & N. Monroe near Downtown Spokane
New local Asian BBQ style restaurant with Korean style BBQ being cooked directly at the table.
The Human Bean
Status- Under Construction
Location- 2503 N. Northwest Blvd. Spokane
Chain of drive-up coffee stands planning their first location in Spokane.
Tastea Coffee & Boba
Status- Under Construction
Location- 1314 S. Grand #3 Spokane
New local coffee and boba shop, planned to have coffee, Vietamese coffee and some small food items.
Cafe Buenos Aires
Status- Under Construction
Location- 1924 W. Pacific Spokane
New Argentinian influenced restaurant from the same owners as the Tarascon Empanada restaurant that closed during the COVID pandemic in North Spokane. The empanada's will be a part of the menu.
Jupiter's Eye Book Cafe

Location- 411 W. 1st Ave. Downtown Spokane
New coffee shop/ bookstore combo coming soon to Downtown Spokane.
Kindred Public House

New gastropub coming soon to the N. Monroe Business District from the same owners as Cascadia Public House in North Spokane.
