A new eco-friendly business, that even features some merchandise from other eco-friendly and/or local businesses is now open in Cheney. Evergreen Refillery, located at 502 W. 1st in Downtown Cheney is similar to other refillery style businesses and is helping customers eliminate single use plastics by bringing jars or using ones provided in the store to fill with an assortment of eco-friendly cleaning, laundry and other home liquids, lotions, bars, etc. Just pick a jar, fill the jar, weigh the jar and pay and feel better about your impact on the earth.
Some may recognize Evergreen Refillery already as they spent the summer as a vendor at the Cheney Farmers Market prior to opening their new storefront space. As of my writing this they are Wed-Fri 10-5 and Sat-Sun 12-4, closed Mon-Tues however consult the business directly to confirm their business hours. In addition to items to refill Evergreen also carries an assortment of other similar retail items.
