World Market applies for tenant improvement near Spokane Valley Mall

Alameda,CA based retail chain, World Market appears to have its sights set on a new store in Spokane Valley. This is based on a recent tenant improvement permit application filed by the company to remodel the former Joann Fabrics store at 15110 E. Indiana, in a plaza nearby the Spokane Valley Mall. The company already has one location in our area, nearby the intersection of Division & Francis in North Spokane, so this would be the company's second location in the Inland Northwest market.

As this is based of city permit data there is no opening date given. The space included in the permit is 23,425 square feet, with Yost Gallager Construction listed as the general contractor and architectural project work done by Studio+ Architects, which are both local businesses. World Market reported 258 stores in 2020 and sells primarily furniture and decor, appeal and international foods.
