Demolition of former YWCA underway to make way for The Falls high rise

Demolition is now underway to remove the former YWCA at Post & Broadway by Downtown. The building has actually been largely abandoned in recent years since the YWCA moved into YMCA building on N. Monroe.

The demolition is to make way for a new high rise. The planned high rise has been in the works for a couple of years and is to be called The Falls. The Falls will include- 126 apartments, 26 condo units, 124 unit hotel, 20000-30000 square feet of office space and 20000 to 27000 square feet of retail/ restaurant space. All will be built on top of an underground parking structure. Keep watching for posts about The Falls in the coming months...
