New mixed use buildings in the works for Kendall Yards

Plans are in the works for a couple of the new additions to the Kendall Yards Business District. Although it's early in the process , plans call for a new 5 story building and a 3 story flat iron style building to be built with both commercial and residential uses.

Both new buildings will be on the north side of Summit Pkwy, in-between the existing commercial area and the My Fresh Basket grocery store. The five story building rising immediately to the east  of the existing buildings at 1108 W. Summit. The five story building will have space for retail or restaurants on the ground floor ( plans show 3 bays ). The upper four floors will be apartments.

The three story flatiron style building at 1102 W. Summit will also have retail / restaurant on the ground floor. But upper floors will consist of 8 loft style apartments with high ceilings and interior mezzanines. We have reached out to reps with Greenstone for renderings, construction timeline estimates but have yet to hear back.
