Thai Bamboo building a new "flagship" location on the South Hill

Thai Bamboo is in the process of creating a new restaurant for their South Hill customers. The local chain of Thai restaurants will open later this year in a new "flagship" location at 2215 E. 29th, adjacent to the Grapetree Village development. It will replace a smaller older location not far away at 2926 E 29th , in all Thai Bamboo operates four locations, 2 in Spokane, 1 in Spokane Valley and 1 in Coeur d' Alene.

Not an exact rendering of the new South Hill Thai Bamboo, but an example of their restaurants style as provided by them.

Despite current statewide construction hold ups, they say they are definitely still planning to open this new location. It will be similar in scale to the North Spokane and CdA locations with 7400 square feet, including a full lounge, banquet room, large dining space and outdoor patio.

The new restaurant is valued at $1.2 million according to building permits with TW Clark Construction acting as the general contractor and design work done by Russell Page Architects.

Thai Bamboo locations are also still open for take out orders, with online ordering available. For more info on their restaurants and to view their menu, check out their website at http://thaibamboorestaurant.com
