Johanna Beverage to build large new refrigerated building on the West Plains

Johanna Beverage Company is continuing to invest in Spokane. This is because the company has just announced that they will construct a new 37,300 square foot refrigerated storage building here, used to store and stage the company's refrigerated products.

The company, which produces primarily fruit juices will operate the building which will be by their current facility on W. Thorpe Rd, just west of Spokane. It is to be operational by the end of this year and will utilize a steel frame and clad with insulated metal panels to keep the product between 34 and 38 degrees for maximum food safety and energy efficiency.

Cooper Architects of Bellevue did the design work and it will be constructed by Fisher Construction Group of Burlington, WA who also has an office here in Spokane. Fisher Construction Group has experience in the cold storage construction / food processing industry having built several other similar projects throughout the continental US and Alaska.

Johanna Beverage Company has operated their Spokane facility since 2007 and is a branch off of their parent, Johanna Companies based in Flemington, NJ.
