New ice cream roll establishment planned near Gonzaga

Spokane's first rolled ice cream restaurant is under construction now off of N. Division, nearby Gonzaga University. The new business will be called Yummy Ice Cream Rolls and will at the Logan Square shopping center at 1601 N. Division, in the suite next door to Einstein Bros. Bagels.

Yummy Ice Cream Rolls is a locally owned and operated business that is hoping to be in open sometime in March. Ice cream rolls originated in Thailand but have been kind of trending in the US lately. The process is where the ice cream is poured out onto cold metal where it is then rolled up, usually with other items mixed in, and some toppings / sauces then placed on top.

The new Yummy Ice Cream Rolls will allow customers to make their own ice cream creations or choose from several delicious sounding known combinations. If choosing to make your own, guesst will first chose a base ice cream, then choose from one of about a dozen mix ins, over 20 toppings and then one of 10 sauces.
