Kitty Cantina, Spokane's first cat cafe sets an opening date

After months of planning and successful Kickstarter campaign, Spokane's first ever cat cafe is about to become a reality. The cafe which will go by the name Kitty Cantina took to Instagram this morning to announce that their business will open their doors on April 11th.

Kitty Cantina will be in North Spokane at 6704 N. Nevada #1 in a space that was previously a chocolate & coffee shop. The business will be part cafe and part cat sanctuary with the cat room and the main cafe kept in separate rooms.

The business is partnering with Spokanimal to provide healthy cats that are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and ready for adoption. They will also be set up to allow the adoptions to take place within the Kitty Cantina space.

The cafe space will be just like any other coffee shop and then some. The Kitty Cantina cafe will espresso, Lotus and more in addition to beers, wines and ciders. Food wise they plan to carry baked goods, sandwiches and soups.

For more info, check out their website at http://kittycantina.com , follow them on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/kittycantina or @spokane_kitty_cantina on Instagram.

Also, local blog Everyday Spokane recently posted an exciting interview with the owner of Kitty Cantina. I recommend giving that a read as well at-
