Lovesac planning a location in River Park Square

Lovesac, a growing specialty furniture store with a bit of cult following is planning on opening soon in Spokane. The Connecticut based company has filed permits to build out a new showroom on the second floor of River Park Square in Downtown Spokane.

Created using a stock photo- this not an exact copy of the future Spokane store.

The store will occupy " space 216 " of the shopping center, which has been filled by a religious geared apparel store called Hope Outfitters. The store will be about 1700 square feet and will be the first location to come to the Inland Northwest, although they do operate locations in the Seattle area and opened a store in Boise just last year ( article from BoiseDev  )

Lovesac was founded in the mid 1990's by a student at the University of Utah and was boosted in 2005 when the company's founder Shawn D. Nelson won on the Fox reality TV show Rebel Billionaire. The company sells two primary lines, a reconfigurable couch called the Sactional and the Lovesac, a foam filled chair.

The company has seen rapid growth recently with a number of new locations in the pipeline, they currently are publicly traded on Nastaq under the ticker symbol LOVE. For more information on Lovesac and their products, check out their website at http://lovesac.com
