Fairchild AFB's new fitness center

The new state of the art fitness facility on base at Fairchild Air Force Base near Airway Heights is now open. The new fitness facility was deemed necessarily as the former center was severely damaged in a snow storm 3 years ago causing the base to put only a temporary fix on the old smaller gym roof until this new replacement fitness center could be completed. The new Fairchild fitness center features the usual weights and work out machines but also has a basketball and volleyball courts,an indoor track, a swimming pool and racquetball rooms .The fitness center will be used by the troops/ families living on base as well for Fairchild AFB's Survival School.
