Major changes at Spokane area Malls

2 major moves are in the works for 2 of the bigger Spokane area Mall stores.The first move will happen soon at Spokane Valley Mall as one of the mall's dining options is preparing to leave the Mall. Hong Kong Buffet which had been in suite 1178 directly across the corridor from the Tilt Arcade and nearby Anderson Ink and the Spokane Valley Mall Cinema will re-locate on June 1st to the former Winger Bros. restaurant space at 14742 E. Indiana Ave in Spokane Valley. The new location for the Hong Kong Buffet is still close by the mall however as the new space is a free standing building near the entry driveway to Mall itself.The buffet style restaurant  is an international buffet serving primarily Chinese food with some other options as well a selection of Sushi.

The most obvious change coming soon to the Spokane area's Mall's however will be the moving of the Spokane Valley Wholesale Sports store, which was formerly a Sportsman's Outlet store. The big box store, Wholesale Sports sells primarily hunting and fishing gear along with other outdoor needs and firearms. The sporting goods retailer has been in Mall owned plaza next door to Spokane Valley Mall on Indiana Ave at Evergreen Rd. but will soon move to become and anchor store for sister mall, Northtown Mall in North Spokane. The new Wholesale Sports at Northtown will be the first time a Wholesale Sports has been located inside a mall as the store will take over about 34,000 sq feet within the shopping center.
