Sears opens new store in Deer Park

Sears is now open in the small town of Deer Park just north of Spokane. The new store is not as large as the other area Sears stores because the new location is part of the Sears chain's Hometown Store concept, where the store uses the Sears name and some of the same merchandise just in a more limited quantity and in stores not near the size of the mainstream Sears stores.

The new Deer Park Sears is now open at 603 S. Fir Ave. along US 395 on the cities west side. The new store carries a selection of lawn and garden goods, major name brand appliances and mattresses including mattresses by the Sealy brand.

The new store is open Monday thru Friday from 9am till 6:30 pm , Saturday 9am till 6pm and Sunday 11am till 4pm. The store's phone number is 509-276-1700

Sears Stores are a national fixture since their founding as in Chicago as Sears, Robuck & Company in 1893 ( originally as a catalog company, the Sears retail stores didn't come into existence until 1925)

Locally Sears operates 3 full service stores at Northtown Mall in Spokane, Spokane Valley Mall in Spokane Valley and Silver Lake Mall in Coeur d' Alene. A Hometown Sears store similar to the new Deer Park store is located in Cheney at 10 W. 1st St.
