Circle K planning new stores in Spokane

Circle K, a chain of convenience stores usually with gas stations attached looks to be coming to Spokane soon. This only adds up as the chain is growth mode and expanded into the Tri-Cities market in 2012 with the acquisition of 18 Sun Mart brand stores.

The stores are coming to Spokane are all still in the planning phase but likely will be at least starting construction in the next few months. Because of this we also don't know an opening date but do know that the chain has submitted pre-development conference paperwork for 3 stores in Spokane. They are-
4415 N. Market ( south end of Hillyard )
2820 E. 29th ( corner of 29th and Regal, next to Discount Tire )
4221 S. Cheney Spokane Rd. ( in-between Yoke's and the mini storage place )
10 N. Pines Rd in Spokane Valley ( where the Sprague & Pines Albertsons once was )

All of these location are vacant lots today so each store will be new construction and not taking over existing stores. There may be more stores coming to the area but this all the information we have found so far.

The plans call Circle K branded full gas stations with a convenience store of about 3500-5000 square feet depending on the location. Also the planned stores on 29th and the one on Cheney Spokane Road also will likely include automated car washes. Circle K has operated convenience stores since the 1950's and today their HQ in Tucson, AZ oversees 8000 plus stores in almost all 50 states and several international locations around Europe and Asia. The chain is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard,Inc a Canadian based convenience store conglomerate that also has Holiday Stationstores under their wings.
