European Market opens, adds to the Spokane Public Market

The Spokane Public Market has come along way since it's grand opening back in the Summer of 2011. Today the market , which is located in Downtown Spokane at 24 W. 2nd Ave. (in between Division and Browne ) is home to many different vendors ,markets and even a couple of delicious but not so well know restaurants. More on the market itself later in this post.

And one of the newest vendors at the Spokane Public Market is also of the most interesting and different for not just the market but for all of Spokane. That new vendor is called European Market and is a full service market selling a selection of fruits and vegetables but also fresh feta cheese and many items from around Europe, primarily Eastern Europe.

The European Market at Spokane Public Market has items like Cockta Soda, a cheese puff snack from Macedonia , candy bars and many more unique items that are if not impossible ,nearly impossible to find in the Spokane area.

The European Market is open when the market is open ( info on the market's hours below) and can be found near the front end of the Market's main room.

If you haven't paid the Spokane Public Market a visit for awhile now may just be the time. The Market has many unique vendors that change frequently. The Vendor's sell everything from fresh garden produce to meats, snacks , gifts and so much more. And Spokane Public Market isn't just food vendors there is even a couple of small restaurants that are a great place to catch a quick meal. One such spot is a relatively new Deli called Our American Deli which is home of large sandwiches and homemade soups.

Spokane Public Market is easy to find with plenty of parking both on street and surrounding the building ( largest lot is in the back, off of Pacific ) . The Market building is also home to the Marketplace Wine Bar and Sun People Dry Goods. The Market is open Tuesday thru Saturday from 10am till 6pm and Sunday 11am till 5pm.
