The going out of business sales are due to begin this week at the only Office Depot location in Coeur d' Alene.
The closure of the Coeur d' Alene location is a result of Office Depot's purchase last year of the OfficeMax chain, which is similar to Office Depot and also already has a location in Coeur d' Alene, on W. Canfield Ave. in the Silver Lake Plaza ( the Target shopping center ) . The Coeur d' Alene OfficeMax store has no current closure plans.
The last day for the Coeur d' Alene Office Depot is set for May 3rd. The store is located at 131 W. Neider Ave. in the same shopping center as Kmart and Safeway.
Office Depot also operates 3 locations in the Spokane metro area. As of this time none of the Spokane Office Depot locations are planned to go out of business. The Spokane area store's can be found at:
