Miguel's Mexican Resturant opening on South Hill, CDA resturant by same owner closes

At the end of February, local restaurant owner Miguel Amador had to close down his Coeur d' Alene Restaurant but he isn't wasting any time, as Amador is already planning to open a new restaurant on Spokane's South Hill.
Amador's Fiesta Mexicana restaurant at the corner of N. 4th St. and Appleway in Coeur d' Alene closed at the end of the day on Feb 28th. In a recent article the Spokane Journal of Business had on this story they mention the Coeur d' Alene location closed due to difficulty obtaining a full liquor license in Idaho. And, while that may be true INBW has heard the restaurant was closed down because the land owner has plans for another new building, perhaps a strip mall on the prime corner site. We will continue to watch for news on this.

While Fiesta Mexicana is closed in Coeur d' Alene , the business is not closed completely as the restaurant's Spokane location remains open on the South Hill. The South Hill Fiesta Mexicana is located at 1227 S. Grand.

The new restaurant addition will as mentioned above also be on the South Hill and will also be a Mexican style eatery. This new location will be called Miguel's Mexican Restaurant & Tequileria and will have a separate menu from Fiesta Mexicana and a full liquor license with many tequila's available.

Miguel's Mexican Restaurant & Tequileria will be at 3029 E. 29th Ave, the former home another restaurant called Vin Rouge. The new restaurant has no set opening date yet ( as of the time I'm writing this ) but is expected to open in the Spring.
