Browne's Tavern to open in Browne's Addition

Earlier today I was flipping through the pages of the recently released "Best of the Inland Northwest 2014 " edition of the Inlander. But what I didn't know when I started reading it was, it would have the answer to another new restaurant rumor I'd heard of. So now I can confirm, thanks to a now hiring ad, that there will be a new restaurant in the former EJ's Garden Bistro building in Browne's Addition.

That new restaurant will be called Browne's Tavern and a little research shows this new establishment will be casual dining restaurant will a full bar. The new bar and restaurant is currently scheduled to open sometime in late April at the small historic building at 1924 W Pacific Ave.

Browne's Tavern menu will feature many items including items inspired by the "food traditions of American comfort, Asian street fare, & Europe's osterias, bistros & beer gardens " . The business will be lead by executive chef Floyd Loomis who has won several awards and was formerly chef at Asiago's Ristorante in Boise. The business will also involve the ownership behind the EJ Roberts Mansion Bed & Breakfast as co-owners.

With the opening date coming in under 2 months Browne's Tavern is also now hiring for all positions at the restaurant. An advertisement with more info on these jobs can be found in the current edition of The Inlander, and I'm sure more places to come.
