Catholic Charites to build low income apartments

The new, 51-unit Valor Haven building is slated to be constructed at 32 W. Pacific, next to the House of Charity homeless men's shelter at the east end of downtown Spokane.

Catholic Charities of Spokane announced recently their plans to build a new low income apartment complex in Downtown Spokane and a spot which has been in need of such housing projects.Catholic Charities will build the new building at 108 S. State St. with Catholic Charities House of Charities men's homeless shelter closeby which is located at 32 W. Pacific.The parcel currently has a small warehouse building which will be torn down when construction begins.The new apartment complex will be a 4-story building with 51 apartments and cost Catholic Charities about 8 million to build.
