A Downtown area hotel to remodel,re-brand as Best Western

Looks like the large new, Convention Center Hotel being built by developer Walt Worthy isn't the only big news coming to us from the hotels of Downtown Spokane.

That's because we've learned of a major upgrade coming to the Convention Center Travelodge Hotel, located across from the Spokane Convention Center at the intersection of Spokane Falls Blvd. and Browne / Division.

The hotel is right now in the process of upgrade all parts of the hotel, including the guest rooms. The upgrade will also include dropping the economy Travelodge hotel brand to join the mid range Best Western Hotel chain. Once work is complete the hotel will be considered a Best Western Plus hotel.

The hotel will continue to operate with 80+ hotel rooms, private enclosed parking area with a on site business center. A larger fitness center will also be added with the switch to Best Western.

The rooms at the newly renovated hotel will feature fridges, Keurig coffee makers , new linens and much more. Also upgrades will be done to the hotel's morning breakfast line up.

Best Western is an Arizona based hotel chain with 4,195 hotel properties worldwide. The chain continues to grow around the United States and is even one of the fastest growing hotel chains in Asia and the Middle East. The chain's Coeur d' Alene location ( at US 95 & I-90 ) is also currently undergoing renovation both inside and out.
