Just in time for the big events like Ironman, Fourth of July,etc... comes a couple of exciting new bars and restaurants in the resort city of Coeur d' Alene.
And while these may not be the only two new establishments Downtown they are probably the ones I'm personally hearing the most buzz about. They are-
Crafted Tap House + Kitchen
Already mentioned once before on Inland Northwest Business Watch ( http://www.inlandnwbusiness.com/2013/11/new-restaurant-to-open-in-old-muffler.html ). Crafted is a new full service restaurant with but indoor dining and a significant outdoor dining area, in all crafted has seating for about 170.
Crafted has a full menu of primarily American style food dishes including burgers and much more but also highlights it's many beers very well. In all Crafted serves 50 craft beers on tap.
Crafted Tap House + Kitchen is located in the former TNT Mufflers location that has been extensively remodeled inside and out. The establishment's address is 523 E. Sherman Ave.

Described as Coeur d' Alene's first and only rock n' roll sports bar and grill, The Rocker Room is now open Downtown only 2 blocks off of the main Sherman Ave. corridor. The Rocker Room is actually a new business concept for a long time bar Downtown bar location.
The Rocker Room is in the former Rendezvous / Torch Lounge at 216 E. Coeur d' Alene Ave. which was for a short time a country bar known as the Country Club CDA which has gone out of business.
The Rocker Room is a full bar with live music and even sports on several TV's and large HDTV screens. The new business is also not just an bar as The Rocker Room offers a full food menu developed by the expertise of Jason Rex who is also executive chef of Scratch Restaurant.

Coeur d' Alene Press columnist Nils Rosdahl has mentioned a new business called Dog House Tap Room or Dog House Tavern opening soon at 110 N. 4th in Downtown Coeur d' Alene. I have no other info on this but am going to be following up on this very soon.
