And late last week, we got the news that Nectar would soon be opening a new retail craft wine and beer shop in Kendall Yards.

Nectar Craft Wine and Beer will carry wine from around the world, specialty and local beer for retail sales and will have a great space to enjoy glass or pint while enjoying the small plates menu overlooking downtown Spokane. “Kendall Yards is the perfect location for specialty wine and beer shop. The community is booming and the vision of Greenstone Homes for the area really excites me,” says Josh. In addition to specialty wine and beer, the location will carry select cheese, meat and various gift items. “Nectar Tasting Room will remain in its current location and will continue the focus on five Washington wineries, food service and an event facility. The tasting room is positioned perfectly for continued growth and success with the renovation of the Bennett Block, Huppins and Dutches buildings and the proximity to Walt Worthy’s Grand Hotel,” explains Josh. “The new space gives us the opportunity to serve the Kendall Yards community and explore unique wine and beer from around the world.

Award winning restaurant designer Studio HDG has been contracted to build out the space. Work will begin shortly. Expect the space to be open in the early winter of 2015. Nectar Wine and Beer will be located at 1331 Summit Parkway next to Veraci Pizza.
