The Lantern Tap House expanding into former Perry St. Cafe

A couple of months ago Spokane's South Perry District lost it's landmark breakfast and lunch restaurant the Perry St. Cafe when they closed on Perry St and consolidated with the businesses other newer location in Cheney.

But the vacancy left behind be the Perry St. Cafe will soon be filled once again as the bar , Lantern Tap House  which is located directly next door has announced they plan to expand into and remodel the space at 1004 S. Perry . The Lantern will  use the new space as a public house style restaurant that would be open to families serving pub fare,etc...

Also the bar portion of the business would also expand slightly into the new building, food from the public house portion is expected to be served in the bar area.

The Lantern Tap House opened in 2009 and has become a success for the quaint neighborhood south of Downtown Spokane.
