Bamboo Island Bath & Body opens retail store in Wandermere ( Photos )

Spokane now has a local answer to that mall bath and body chain. With the recent opening of a retail storefront for Bamboo Island Bath & Body, Inc. , a company that's actually been around since the mid 1990's.

Bamboo Island Bath & Body opened in 1995, originally on the Island of Oahu in Hawaii. The company relocated to the Northwest back in 2005. But the company lacked a retail space of their own, until now.

Bamboo Island is manufacturer and retailer that specializes in tropical bath and body products. The store also carries products in variety of other scents ( including Christmas scents, as of the time of this post ). And a selection of candles is also available.

The new Bamboo Island Bath & Body store front is easy to find, located in the Wandermere Fred Meyer Shopping Center ( 12204 N. Division ) in North Spokane's Wandermere neighborhood. In all the new shop encompasses 1,300 square feet of space and is open 7 days a week. Hours are: Mon - Sat. 9 to 8 and Sun. 11 to 6 .
