Hooters closes in Spokane Valley, 2 new restaurants to open in former space.

The Hooters chain has left Spokane with a recent, unexpected, closure of their location at 16208 E. Indiana Ave. , a few blocks east of Spokane Valley Mall in Spokane Valley. The business owner also operated the Owl Club Casino, which is in the same building as the Hooters. The casino side of the building however will remain open. And, the business closure isn't the only news at this site as the now vacant space will soon re-open, with 2 restaurants both with interesting concepts.

Work will need to be done to the former Hooters, but even so sources say that at least one of the new restaurants will open in "early 2014" . No official word however on business size, confirmed business names , numbers of employees or even an exact opening date, so keep watching for more news on that front. But for now here is what we know of these new eatery's-

Breakfast restaurant, believed ( at time of posting ) to be called Egg It On

This new restaurant will offer a menu of farm to table / urban farm fusion cuisine options. Also, the restaurant claims to offer enormous portions.

New sports bar, no known name as of now.

After Egg It On the remaining former Hooters space will re-open as a new sports bar & grill style restaurant . But, there are a couple of aspects of this new sports bar that make it too, an interesting and unique concept.

The sports bar will offer over 40 beer taps and burgers that are made with , in part , ground bacon.
