Cedar Crossing development coming to Spokane's Five Mile Prarie

Five Mile Prairie has been a hot spot for new development in the City of Spokane for a few years now with many subdivisions dotting the prairie. But a new development in the Northwest Spokane neighborhood near the intersection of N. Cedar St. and Francis Ave.  is causing much talk all around town. That project is called Cedar Crossing , Cedar Crossing will begin primarily as a commercial project with the Cedar Crossing Retail Center opening as early as June.

The Cedar Crossing Retail Center will actually be 4  buildings with a total of 22,200 square feet of newly created space. The retail portion of the project already has 2 tenants lined up, both are restaurants and one is a second location for a South Hill favorite. The planned tenants for the Cedar Crossing Retail Center are...

Waddell's Brew Pub & Grille

Waddell's is a new second location of Waddell's Neighborhood Pub & Grille from the South Hill. The new Waddell's at Cedar Crossing will be similar to the South Hill bar and eatery but will also give the company a chance to brew and serve their own beer's along with a selection of domestic, imported and micro brewed beers.

The new Waddell's is expected to employ around 35.

The Boiler Room

Well known Spokane bar and restaurant owner Matt Goodwin will open his latest venture at Cedar Crossing. The new restaurant will be called The Boiler Room and is being designed by the Hissong Design Group to have a modern boiler room feel.

The Boiler Room restaurant will serve gourmet pizza's as well as cocktails. The Boiler Room is expected to employ about 25.

The Cedar Crossing project will also be home to a new apartment / town home project. With that portion of the project 36 new apartments will be made available. No word at this point in time as to when the apartment community will open.
