Food Truck Rally in the works for upcoming First Friday

In early December the Downtown Spokane Partnership is planning a food truck rally during their monthly First Friday event. And while none of the participating food trucks are " new businesses " this new event is proof that, slowly but surely, the Spokane business scene is getting hipper and keeping up with trends from other parts of the nation.

Spokane's First Friday Holiday Food Truck Rally will take place on Dec. 6th during the standard First Friday event which runs from 5 -8pm . The event will take place Downtown on Wall St. between Main and Riverside. Music will also be provided by The Turner Sisters, a locally based and award winning fiddle trio.

Of course not all local food trucks are scheduled to attend. But six are on the event roster, those six participating food trucks are:

-Couple of Chefs
-The Jamaican Jerk Pan
-The Bistro Box
-Azar's
-Veraci Pizza
-The Scoop

First Friday, is an event organized by the Downtown Spokane Partnership that happens on the first Friday of the month and allows Downtown businesses and even some buildings to open their doors to sell almost any kind of art. First Friday events highlight local artists and in many case also include musical performances.

The Downtown Spokane Partnership has been seeking way's to better incorporate Spokane's growing food truck scene into the Downtown scene. This is the only such event scheduled as of now.
