The Blind Buck now open

Downtown Spokane's newest bar and nightclub is now open and after only a week it has people talking. That's because that club called , The Blind Buck isn't like the other Downtown bar's.

The Blind Buck is a Speakeasy themed bar that is located in 1,400 square feet of space at 204 N. Division directly next door to the former Globe Bar space that was a popular Downtown bar until it closed in early 2012.

The Blind Buck takes it's name as a reference to the Speakeasy's of the Prohibition era. Speakeasy's we're often called names like blind pig or blind tiger. The buck name was added to reflect the Inland Northwest lifestyle.

The Blind Buck, inside is a hip and small bar with a full liquor license and a interesting décor throughout. The bar's location should help it as well being part of the trendy " Little Portland " section of Downtown Spokane where several other similar establishments are already in business.

The business will be open Thursday thru Sunday nights from 8pm till 2am. This weekend will be the official opening weekend for the business a " soft - opening" was held last weekend and was patronized by many.

And unlike any other bar , The Blind Buck, offers Goldfish as the club's bar snacks.
