In case you didn't hear, The Flying Pig went out of business a couple of months ago. But the good news is, the space where The Flying Pig was isn't going to be vacant very long as a exciting new café and market is already setting up shop in the E. Sprague location, just a few blocks east of Downtown.
That new business is called The Ivory Table and will be a café style eatery specializing in gourmet regional seasonal bistro fare. Among the menu items at The Ivory Table will be hot sandwiches, homemade soups, quiche , salads and will have gluten free options available as well.

A weekend brunch will also be available after the businesses initial opening. That opening is expected sometime in June but no date has been set as of now.

The Ivory Table will also offer a market consisting of drinks, pastries, wine and specialty food items to go.

The Ivory Table's address is 1822 E. Sprague Ave. in the heart of Spokane's up and coming International District. The web site for The Ivory Table is currently under construction but will soon be available at-

Some info / food photos are also available on The Ivory Table's Facebook friend page, which can be located by searching Ivory Table Spokane on Facebook.
