New Business Openings & Closings- May 15th 2014

There are tons of new businesses opening in the Spokane / Coeur d' Alene area right now. There is basically no way to fit them all in now, but here are some of the highlights-

United Health Services Credit Union

United Health Services Credit Union is wrapping up work on their newest branch location in Spokane Valley. The new branch is expected to have a soft opening early next month.

The Credit Union's new location is at 16402 E. Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley.

Heartbeat Quilting

Heartbeat Quilting, also in Spokane Valley has recently completed a major expansion to their store which will double the amount of space the store has.

The Quilting business is located at 16909 E. Sprague Ave and includes both retail and studio space.

Rusty Moose Country Gifts

You may have noticed the ad's around town for this new business located on the South Hill. Rusty Moose Country Gifts is a retail shop selling many country themed gift and décor items. Some framed artwork and hand crafted wood furniture is also included at the store.

Rusty Moose can be found at 3028 S. Grand Ave in Spokane.

Orphaned Décor

Orphaned Décor, a handcrafted décor and furniture store in the Historic Hillyard Business District has opened a new second store in the same block as the original. Orphaned Décor can now also be found at 5210 N. Market St.

Good Samaritan Thrift Store

Joining the several other thrift stores in Coeur d' Alene's Midtown District is the all new Good Samaritan Thrift Store.

Good Samaritan Thrift opened last month at 1610 N. 4th St in the former H&R Block location. In all the store features 4,500 square feet of general merchandise with proceeds going toward the Good Samaritan Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Facility also in Coeur d' Alene.

Spokane Gymnastics

The established local gymnastics business, Spokane Gymnastics has opened a new location to provide training to all ages.

The new center will be called Spokane Gymnastics Argonne Village as it is located at the Argonne Village shopping center in Spokane Valley. The new facility is about 28,000 square feet and last operated as a health club. The businesses address is 2515 N. Locust.

In addition the original Spokane Gymnastics will also stay open on Broadway in Spokane Valley but the plan is to consolidate both locations into the Argonne Village location sometime in the future.
