Huckleberry Thicket to move to Post Falls

The big purple sign is already up and construction crews are hard at work on the interior of the new home in Post Falls for Huckleberry Thicket.

Huckleberry Thicket , a locally owned and operated business has been a part of the Coeur d' Alene area business community with a year round location in Coeur d' Alene's Silver Lake Mall for the last couple of years. The business started in the former buffet restaurant space near Sears in Mall but moved to the center court recently to accommodate the construction and even more recent opening of the new JoAnn Fabrics store in the North Coeur d' Alene shopping center.

Huckleberry Thicket is gift store / bakery / coffee shop that features many huckleberry items , many of which are manufactured by the store. Also included are a variety of huckleberry themed gift items , other gifts and Coeur d' Alene souvenirs . All items will continue to be sold by the store even after the move.

The new store location will occupy the former A to Z Rentals store at 3430 E. Seltice Way nearby the intersection of Seltice Way and Hwy. 41 . The new building is also visible from both directions of travel on I-90 near Exit #7 . The new store will be larger then the current space at Silver Lake , with 3,400 square feet of space. No word as of yet as to when the new store in Post Falls will open.
