The Culinary Stone opening in anchor space at Riverstone

That big vacant retail space at 2129 Main St. in CdA , that was originally built out to be a Barnes & Noble store that never happened will finally be filled soon. And while the sign in the front window actually reads " The Culinary District coming soon " the businesses name has actually been modified and will open soon as The Culinary Stone.

The Culinary Stone will be a gourmet grocery and kitchen supply store featuring specialty meats, cheeses , oils and many more gourmet items. Grocery merchandise isn't all that's planned, The Culinary Stone will also carry cookware and offer in store cooking classes /chef demo's . Wine is planned also to be sold both by the bottle or by the glass.

Construction work is under way on the new store space and an opening date is currently scheduled for November 1st. just in time for the holiday shopping season. No official word as to how many the new store will employ or an exact store size.

The store space at 2129 Main St. is on the western edge of Riverstone's Main St. and is one of the largest storefront spaces in the mixed use center which is located along Northwest Blvd. near I-90 in Coeur d' Alene. A few other interesting store have also recently opened or will open soon at up and coming shopping center.
