Center Partners expanding in the Spokane / CdA area
Chock it up to the good news column, because it was announced today that Center Partners has canceled most of the companies planned local lay offs. In fact, the company will actually be expanding it's operations here in the Inland Northwest.
Center Partners , a Fort Collins,Colo. based call center operator announced massive layoffs a couple of months ago. Hundreds of layoff notices went out at the companies Liberty Lake call center employees with some employees allowed to transfer to other area sites. But now due to changes in Center Partners' clients business needs, the mood has been completely reversed.
The company now says it will actually hire an additional 500+ new workers with those newly created positions spread out across all of the companies Inland Northwest locations. Center Partners operates 3 separate , large call centers locally. The primary location is in Coeur d' Alene on Ironwood Dr. , near Northwest Blvd. . Other locations are in Hayden in the Meadowlark office campus area near the corner of Prairie Ave and US 95 as well as in Liberty Lake in the former Telect building on Madison Dr.
Hiring for the new jobs has already begun and will continue for some time. The majority of the new jobs will be in the 9-10 per hour range and will be full time with benefits. For more info on jobs with Center Partners visit there hiring web site at-
There are no plans to expand the actual physical buildings at any of the local locations. It's also interesting to note that the Coeur d' Alene call center has had a for lease sign out front of it for sometime, could this be a future move? No word on any of that either.
Center Partners also at one time had a call center taking inbound calls for T-Mobile. That site closed around the same time the Liberty Lake operation opened it's doors. That building remains vacant but interestingly enough Center Partners has a current business license with the Post Falls site's address.
Center Partners call center's take inbound customer service / sales calls as well as outbound calls for a number of large companies. Most of which are unknown, however at one time ( some time ago ) it was known the local call centers took calls for T-Mobile , Capital One and Century Link among others.
