ShareSpace , a new co-working space opens in Downtown Spokane

With co-working increasingly become the new way for small businesses to find a affordable office location and / or provide an alternative office space in the home. Co-working space is already available in a couple of places around the Spokane region. But a there is a new addition to this form of office space, and this time in a prime space in the heart of Downtown Spokane.

ShareSpace is now open in the Seahorn Building directly adjacent to the Steam Plant Square complex in the 100 block of S. Lincoln St. in the southern section of the Downtown core. ShareSpace is managed by Connect Northwest, a non-profit organization that assists new local businesses and entrepreneur's gain funding and get the assistance needed to get their start-up off the ground.

The space that ShareSpace occupies was donated by Avista Corp. who has also been known to assist the local business community. The ShareSpace office space is affordable and quite sizable with about 1,000 square feet of space available for Co-Working. Rent is available at a monthly membership level for only $75 a month or 5 visits for only $30.

ShareSpace provides 24/7 secure access to it's members ( 8am - 5pm for "punchcard" members ) as well as on site wifi , private kitchenette / restrooms , outdoor patio space , access to a printer / scanner , private phone booth spaces for private calls and access to a conference room.

And unlike some of the other co-working spaces available in the market today. ShareSpace gives business additional resources to assist their members businesses. The space will be home to after hours entrepreneur networking and education events as well as access to mentors and advisors.
